Reviews

Here are some of the reviews we have received recently…

The house was perfect for us – we had a great family weekend with bbq, card games and hang out together. The house is gorgeous, looks exactly like the pictures, and the surroundings are stunning. Also very close to wine yards. The communication with Pete was perfect – he provided all information we needed and his instructions made it easy for us to find the house, even in darkness. Everything went very smooth and convenient, nothing could have been better!

Pete was a fantastic host. He was great with communication, and even sent through some invaluable local tips. Pete made us feel very welcome with the babies- it is so refreshing to deal with a child friendly host! The weather was terrible our entire stay, but the accommodation had more than everything we needed and we were kindly offered early check in and late check out. The chalet was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Pete!

Kirsty and Pete were warm and friendly and the Chalet reflected this perfectly. The chalet was remote enough to feel private but close enough to all that the South West has to offer. Upon arrival it was a simple process to get it and we were pleasantly surprised with how clean the place was. It was immaculate. We enjoyed our stay immensely and wished we could stay longer. We are looking forward to staying there again. PS Pete and Kirsty recommended the wood fired bread from across the valley and after living off it for the weekend, we do not disagree. A must try!

Great place in a great location. Lovely pine forest nearby, cosy pub and cute kangaroos. We loved the area and the hosts were welcoming and lovely. The beds were comfy. The cleaners are amazing and the place was spotless on arrival. Very well equipped and we would stay again.

Tranquility in the forest but close to everything!

My family and I went to enjoy the long weekend in Yallingup and stumbled across this chalet which ticked all the boxes. 3 bedrooms, very neat and clean, with spacious living area, laundry and kitchen. It was enough for our 3 children to roam about. The surrounds were perfect for a quiet bush walk and they had tennis courts and a swimming pool to kill off any boredom that crept in. I really liked how close it was to everything! Only a 5 min drive to Dunsborough Coles, Wood fired bread, Simmos and Ngilgi Cave. I felt like home, and the reverse cycle aircon meant we were kept nice and toasty during the cooler Autumn nights. The caretakers, Pete and Kristy are so lovely and accommodating. Even though we never met them, every question or request we had was never too much. They made our stay very comfortable.

Pete was an excellent host, very communicative and helpful.  The property is in a beautiful location, with the smell of peppermint trees lovely to wake up to.  The decor is modern and everything we needed was supplied, very well equipped.  We were travelling with two families so another bathroom would have been useful, but we managed.  I would very much recommend staying here.  Ania. Terrific holiday

Stayed here over Xmas 2015. Quiet, peaceful and surrounded by bush, everything was clean and comfortable and fitted in perfectly with the relaxing vibe of south west WA. With the use of the resorts pool and tennis court there was enough to do if you wanted to leave the car alone. It’s a great location, close to Yallingup beach and the local Yallingup bakery. Our hosts were super responsive and friendly. We’d love to come back.    Kelly. Dec ’15

The chalet fulfilled and exceeded our expectations.  It has a nice layout, was clean and tidy with a fully equipped kitchen, outside bbq…and even kangaroos showed up at night time!  To top it all, Pete is a great host willing to help at any time.  We had a great time and will be staying there again when going to the region.  Irene Dec ’15

Those who love to be in an absolutely undisturbed place in the nature, this is a PERFECT dwelling place.  A place where one feels peace.  Early 5 am, one can jog and spot beautifully coloured birds and kangaroos.  At night, total darkness and serenity.  Nice air-conditioned home setting inside the deceitful wooden outlook.  Clean and tidy house.  Adult-sized bathtub to soak all day and very comfortable beds to lie on.  My 3 teenager sons love it. 20 mins thereabout drive to many places nearby  –  Dunsborough where supermarket is;  Canal Rocks,  Ngilgi Cave,  Yallingup beach . Pete is friendly and respond fast. Thank you, Pete.  Polly Nov ’15

Top spot, stayed two nights but wished I could have stayed two weeks. Really quiet and cozy place to relax and unwind. Right between Dunsborough and Yallingup its close to all the places we love to visit down south but out of the way enough to get away from the buzz when you want to. Loved sitting on the balcony looking out over the trees. Thoroughly recommended.  Guy and Sarah Oct ’14

We have stayed at Sea Breeze Chalets a couple of times and absolutely love sitting on the verandah at any time of the day or night.  It is so quiet and peaceful.  There is a passing parade of kookaburras, parrots and kangaroos dancing their way through the large Peppermint trees.
The Chalets are new so there is a feeling light and space.
For our family it is a wonderful place to stay as it is so near gorgeous beaches and lots of restaurants close by so we don’t have to cook.
We’d thoroughly recommend Sea Breeze Chalets for a wonderful holiday.

We had a wonderful time at Sea Breeze Chalet. The chalet is situated in a beautiful natural woodland setting close to the beach. The bungalows is close to Dunsborough Yallingup, Cape Naturaliste and the vineyards on Caves road.

The chalet is very comfortable, with room for a large family and has all facilities required for a long enjoyable stay,

We would recommend it o anyone seeking a relaxing stay down south

I am very happy to recommend a stay at Sea Breeze Chalet to both families and couples. Lots of room for the kids to run around and explore the bush block. The place has been really well built and offers space, privacy and comfort. We particularly loved the wide verandahs which were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of the area, and having sunset barbeques. Also, the location was ideal for our needs (beaches and wineries..:)) Enjoy!    Alex & Elena  Oct 2015

A typical south west holiday house in a convenient but secluded part of Yallingup, perfect for a spring break. Bright and airy, elevated aspect with fantastic verandahs.

Pete was a great host. Although we gave short notice of our arrival and booking, he responded quickly and was kind to meet us at the main road to lead us into the home as I was concerned about being lost in the forest. My guests were impressed with the quality of the home and cleanliness of the place. The beds and linen were beautiful and comfortable. We were greeted in the mornings and evenings with friendly kangaroos in the neighbourhood. Thanks Pete, for your excellent hospitality.

What a wonderful place for a quiet weekend getaway and such great value at the same time. The chalet we stayed in was exactly what we needed for two young families staying under the same roof, such peaceful surrounds and very close to both Yallingup and Dunsborough. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent experience starting with very fast responses to initial questions, great detailed information about chalet and local area through to very clean, comfortable accomodation in a beautiful spot. We would definitely consider coming back if we were looking to stay near Yallingup again. We saw several wild kangaroos up close on the property as well which was great for our international visitors. Highly recommended!
