STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TEMPORARY HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

By booking through our online booking system you (the guest) agree to these terms and conditions.

BOOKING TERMS
For Bookings through our online booking system on this site, full payment is required upon booking.
A security bond of $500 is taken just before the booking dates. We will get in contact with you prior to this date to discuss arrangements for payment of the bond. Bond is refunded within 48 hours (usually within 24hrs).

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made in writing/email.
In the event of written notice of cancellation more than 28 days prior to arrival, booking deposits will be refunded less a 20% cancellation fee which covers the processing fee and any fees of commissions associated with the booking. Where written notification of a cancellation is received less than 28 days in advance of the holiday booking, no refund will be given. However the reservation may be rescheduled to another equivalent period subject to availability. If for any reason, a booking is made and taken at an incorrect nightly or package rate, then the booking can be retained subject to payment of the correct rate or cancelled without cancellation fee at the sole discretion of the owner. The guest shall be liable for payment of the full rental whether or not occupation of the property occurs.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. Guests are advised to take out comprehensive holiday cancellation insurance to cater for any unforeseen circumstances

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

SIZE OF PARTY
The number of guests occupying the property for the holiday should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice/online booking form, or subsequently agreed in writing or email with the owner. The maximum number of guests must not exceed 7. The property must be occupied in person by the person nominated in the booking form. If for any reason the person occupying the property is different to the person booking the property, the owner (Pete Ripley) must be notified by email nominating the occupier and written owner approval must be received by the occupier for such usage. If the person booking or nominated is not the occupier then the owner deserves the right to cancel the booking and non-conforming guests may be required to vacate the property immediately without refund.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE PARTIES ALLOWED IN THE CHALET
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. Please note that due to regulations, this property is available for accommodation purposes only, and any other use constitutes a breach in our contract with guests. The property manager has been instructed to close down any large unauthorized gathering of people at the property, and guests will be asked to vacate immediately.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITY
Guests are expected to look after and take all reasonable care of the property and all the furnishings and equipment included in the property and to observe the “No smoking Inside” requirement for the duration of the holiday.
The chalets are STRICTLY NON SMOKING. If you choose to smoke inside a chalet you will automatically be charged a $500 fee to cover the costs that are incurred with having the soft furnishings dry cleaned.

Children – No responsibility will be taken for children staying at or visiting the property. Please supervise at all times, taking into consideration fencing, dams, stairs, verandas, balconies and cleaning chemicals and wild animals. There may be wild kangaroos on the property that can present a hazard to children and should not be approached under any circumstances. The house has native bush land surrounding it in some parts.

Breakages – Any faults, damages or breakages must be reported to Pete Ripley as soon as possible. Guests (You) are liable for any damage to the property or loss of, and damage to, the contents of the property during your holiday occupation. At the end of your holiday you must pay Sea Breeze Chalets upon demand the repair or replacement cost (as reasonably determined by Sea Breeze chalets ) for any and all damage to the property or loss of, and any damage to the contents of the chalet.

SECURITY AGAINST LOSS OR DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY: Prior to arrival at Sea Breeze Chalets, the guest who made the booking will be required to pay a refundable Bond of $500. Following a post stay inspection of the premises subject to the booking terms and conditions being met and provided the premises and contents are left in the same condition as at the start of booking the Bond will be credited to the guest within 2 days of the departure date. The bond is designed to cover any additional costs incurred, including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements.

In providing your nominated Credit Card for payment for Holiday rental or security against any damage to the property or contents, You guarantee that You are authorised to use the nominated Credit Card to meet Your payment obligations under Sea Breeze Chalets Terms and Conditions and authorise Sea Breeze Chalets to debit amounts from, or credit funds to, the nominated Credit Card in respect of outstanding fees and or repairs or replacement costs for any property or contents damage, theft or other loss identified. Sea Breeze Chalets will debit any outstanding fees and or repairs or replacement costs as soon as practicable after the relevant costs are incurred.

If there are insufficient funds available in the nominated Credit Card to meet Your payment obligations under these Terms and Conditions; or a transaction on the nominated Credit Card is declined for any reason, save for the negligence of, or willful misconduct by, Sea Breeze Chalets You will be charged a Dishonor Fee by Sea Breeze Chalets.

It is the responsibility of You the guests to ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked and that the property is left in a clean and tidy state at the end of the holiday. In the event that the property is not left clean and tidy You will be liable for the cost of excess cleaning.

LINEN, TOWELS & EQUIPMENT Unless otherwise stated the accommodation includes the supply of all linen. This includes pillows, continental quilts, blankets, bed sheets, bath towels & bath mats, and tea towels. Beach towels are not included.
Tennis rackets and balls are not included.

Good neighbour policy – The property is a privately-owned home, and we enforce a good neighbour policy. Please treat the property with the same care you would use with your own residence and leave it in the same condition it was in when you arrived. You and other occupants agree to conduct yourselves throughout the stay in a manner that is respectful of and not disruptive to neighbours, traffic flow, or the community and that will not prompt complaints to us from the police, local council, neighbours, or neighbourhood.

Criminal Activity – Use of the property for any criminal activity is of course prohibited and may result in fines or prosecutions. This prohibition extends to use of the property’s internet service, if any, for criminal activity. We will cooperate with any investigation of alleged criminal activity at the property during the stay.

Lost property – Guests are solely responsible for their own property whilst staying at the property and are required to take the usual steps to prevent any property loss, including locking premises and vehicles when not attended. If personal property is left behind we reserve the right to charge a $25 fee to collect lost property. Guests can make their own arrangements for lost property to be returned to them or it can be sent via cost on delivery post. If items are not claimed within 30 days, they will be disposed of.

DEPARTURE
The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 am by the latest, to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests. This time may be differed and will be confirmed by email prior to your stay.

Under no circumstances are pets allowed.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owners or managers in writing.
